Jerome Lagos

I started playing roller hockey at age 8/9 with my grandfather in California.  He was a big hockey influence and was a season ticket holder for the LA kings. It was through him and his passion that made me pursue ice hockey. I joined my local club team at 9/10 in White Plains, NY.  I played with my local club/travel team through high school, where my competitiveness allowed me to play on the varsity team for the following 4 years.  Unaware of the various paths of higher level hockey, I tried to walk on to Curry College in 2000, which is a NCAA D3 school. I played with the kids for the summer but did not make the team.  I took a break and started men’s league for a couple of years until I had my first born in 2006.  I moved to Florida in 2007 and decided to raise my sons in the game. By 2013, I decided to volunteer to coach in REC at PB Skatezone. In 2014/15 I volunteered to assistant coach at PBIW.  For the 2015/16 season I assisted with the 10u and 16u teams . In 2017/18, I was able to acquire a paid coaching position at The Rink on the Beach as their program goalie coach.  For 2019/20 I became a 12u A coach there as well. I moved back to PBIW in 2020/21 and assisted the coach in the 12u year again, then assisted 14u and 16u team for 2021/22 season. 2022/23 season I became head coach to the 14uA team and assisted another 16u team. For the 2023/24 season I was head coach to the 16uA team at PBIW.

Henrik Samuelsson

Son of Ulf Samuelsson, Henrik grew up with a hockey stick in his hand playing against his brother in the basement. Wherever his Dad was playing or coaching that's where he was playing. He moved away to play at NTDP in Ann Arbor, MI. He played there for a year, won a u18 championship.

He then moved up to Edmonton, played three years with The Edmonton Oil Kings in the WHL. He won 2 WHL championships and one Memorial Cup.

During his time in Edmonton he was drafted 1st round in the NHL to the Arizona Coyotes and played in the organization for three years.

Henrik played in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, EIHL, and the SKV2.

He has always done camps during the summer to give back to the community. Gretzky's Hockey School, Mark Ciacio (NYR) are a couple notables where he has helped out.

Two years ago Henrik started helping Ryan Sittler with his teams and has become more and more passionate about coaching kids.

Henrik is excited about what the future holds for the Breakers with our new ownership.
